Default new clutch spring

i am going to buy a new high torque clutch and i have the spring for the front clutch. can i pull the cover off and change out the spring or do i have to pull the clutch off?? its a 93 marthon

If I'm not wrong I think you just pull the cover.

Nope, just pull the cover, and the spring will be right there for ya.

What's the torque specs for the cover of the clutch? Seen it somewhere can't find it.
