Angry G2 Starting problems...

I got a old G2 i fixed up and it ran perfect last season, and this year after storage it would barely turn over and sputter a little bit. so I drained the tank put fresh gas in cleaned the carb. it has a brand new battery and good connections, I put a new fuel filter, air cleaner, belts fuel lines the pump is working and its getting spark? it just wont run? need some suggestions please
