Re: Ramp shoes
I did mine last winter, it was kinda tricky. The old ones broke off when I tried to remove them. Had to drill out the centers. If you do that make sure not to over drill.
When I reinstalled the new ones, they didn't want to go. I bought double the amount in case I broke any, glad I did because I broke three. They didn't want to go in the hole, like the hole was too small. Perfectly clean and deburred, just wouldn't fit without breaking. Had to drill out the holes just a hair, and I mean a hair. Get some machinist bits, the increments are very small. Use the smallest first then try to fit, then move up to the next size. Worked great for me, and still running strong without incident. Oh, and DO NOT run without the shoes! |
