Default 98 EzGo Workhorse 800

I'm having trouble with starting my cart. What I mean is that the starter some times don't work. But when it does it runs fine.
Some times you push the gas down it does nothing at all. And some times it will work if it goes all the way down.

make sure you are getting power to your solenoid. if you are getting power to it and no power out, replace it and you should be good to go. alot of times ive experienced that and the solenoid would work sometime and sometimes not just like your issue. all the ones i repaired were getn power to the solenoid, so i guess it was just sticking and not engaging the starter generator.

If the starter does not work, check if there is voltage going in. In such a case, go back and check the solenoid.

Now, if there is voltage, check the generator's carbon brushes. Replace or clean. While at it, clean the commutator and remove all accumulated dirt inside the generator.

ALSO CHECK THE FUSES , I have had the same issue and it turned out to be a the fuse contacts causing it to sometimes work just fine and the out of the blue nothing , moved the fuse around some and and noticed it would work

I too had trouble with my medalist. It turned out to be a break in the wire from the key switch. I must have hit something underneath the cart causing the break.
