Default Valve job / Fail

Help..just redid my valves.. cart all back together but refuses to start.. getting spark and gas but nothing.. any ideas of something I might be missing to check on.. Thanks

I really need help on this timing belt thing..Im thinking that maybe that is the problem..I followed the diagram for lining it back up after removing it but still not sure I did it right..

Are the valves adjusted properly,If they are adjusted at the wrong timing,they won't open/close properly which will cause compression-loss and also retarded/advanced timing.If the Timing-Belt is off-time your valves will be too.Hope this helps.

ok..my bad.. he did not follow the diagram on putting the timing belt back on.. he marked it and put it back on the identical way it came off.. sorry for the confusion

If the timing belt is not installed properly, it is also possible that instead of gas getting into the carb, gas is spewed out. Re-check alignment of the dots.
