Re: TXT Cowl
I think I posted on another thread of yours, Try these guys (depending on where You are in central IL - they get $75 for a body AND cowl takeoff so it's worth the drive)
SS Carts 1653 Alton Road Lawrenceburg, KY 40342 502-598-3156 Also, do a Yellow Pages search for Golf Carts in Chicago - there's a place in Orland Park if I remember right who also had sets for $100 cash-and-carry a few weeks ago when I was looking I picked up 2 cowls for $75 in Omro, WI (but that's 3.5 hours from ME, and I'm at the state line) ... They're out there, it's almost a better bet to use the phone instead of the internet as a lot of custom shops, dealers, etc just have them laying around as they're too big to pack and ship conveniently so they don't advertise them If you want to drive up to Lake Geneva, I have one that's been scuffed and primed, it's been drilled for a windshield though so it has 4 small asymetrical holes (1/4") drilled in it for the mounts - I'd let you have it for $35 (the holes would be an easy fill or even just use stainless cap head screws to fill them, plus you could look at my TXT conversion and see how it's done) |
