Default Is it OK to just raise the rear?

I want to put on rear tires with more aggressive tread to improve drive traction but I'd prefer not to raise the cart any more than necessary. Seems to me that I could just raise the rear by 2-3 inches to get a bit more clearance but I'm wondering if there is some downside of doing this that I'm not considering.

Not really any downside to it.My Dad did that on his Villager limo to make room for the V-Twin,he has the same tires front and rear, but in his case, the cart is so long it doesn't look odd.I would do it.
