It does not appear that Stacey from Trojan gave her recommendation, she simply answered a question from Scottyb, and in my opinion, a very good answer.

I noticed a lot of the Trojan specs are given at slight different criteria for temperature, which affects the voltage levels.

The last link from Kernal shows an equalize voltage of 64.80v at 80F, that would be 66.82v at 50F.

I am sure the outside temperature varies a lot between the sites where members are charging their batteries.

Thanks to everyone for all the answers and suggestions ....Scotty ...my battery voltage is close to yours ...with the charger shutting off right at 64.8 volts and Sergio ...it was about 80 degrees the other day when I noticed my batteries at 64.8 right before the charger shut off ,let me know if I may be damaging my batteries ?? I just assumed the stock charger and the OBC knew what they were doing ? I told the friend of mine to check out this thread ...as always great info from folks that know golf carts ,David ..I will call you tomorrow ...got in late and I still need to get my cart to you. I was posting the question about his batteries but if I am damaging mine that would be good to know too ...

The answer as I understand it not just a number like 58 or 64 but, what is happening chemically and for how long. When the batteries are taking a low amperage charge (typical of the final phase of charging) and the batteries are not gassing then no damage is being done at 65v
