Default which pins doi use on the v glide

I have a 94 club car that is 36v and the v glide was missing when I bought it. I bought a new one and it has 9 posts on it. I know the two white wires go on the lower post but after that im lost. I have 5 wires and 8 posts on the v glide. Which ones do i use??? I have looked at many diagrams but none of them say which post they go on. Can someone please help me out. Thanks

I'm looking at my 94 36v. Should only be 4 wires total. Green/White and the blue go to micro switch, black and white go toward bottom. Not sure what you mean by 9 posts.

Make sure you have the rear end jacked up.

This diagram should answer your questions:

Make sure the micro-switch is wired to the NC (Normally Closed) tabs on the micro-switch.

Sergio, thanks for the diagram, that's exactly what I need. When i got the cart the previous owner told me that the original one had a melt down. I checked all other wiring and I haven't found any burnt or hot spots. What would cause the melt down of the v glide? Anything else I should look for or test?
