Switch off the cart and the BT on the phone then back on.
Turn controller and BT modular power on 2 green LED
Search available devices. When the phone sees the Alltrax module do not connect with the phone.
Open the app and search - it should see it and be able to connect now.

The Alltrax Bluetooth module is new to me, I didn't know it existed until a few minutes age when I googled it.

I did see a note on their website that the XCT had to be upgraded via toolkit 3.9+, or something like that.

All I can suggest is contacting Alltrax for the BT module issues.

When the module is connected via the app, I'm assuming its connected the blue light is on the module and the disconnect option is still available. I'm only able to see the bluetooth screen and the settings screen. Demo mode is unavailable now once again I'm assuming because its connected. Ok now its connected the connected controllers box is empty but I still see the disconnect and change name box and I can change the name or disconnect I just cant change to the screens to monitor or change any variables.

Ok hooked the laptop back to the controller to verify the version and the toolkit is up to the correct version for the bluetooth module.

Attachment#3 to post#24 indiates toolkit Version 3.1 is loaded, however Alltrax BT module website says V 3.9 or higher is needed.

I don't know what is what with using the BT module, I just spotted an inconsistency in the information available to me on-line.

Does the phone have to be running toolkit also??????

The toolkit on the laptop is 3.9 and that's what I thought the website was referring to. 0.3.1 is currently the most up to date version I can find for my note 10 +. Right now it's looking like I'll have to call alltrax back Monday, tech support was out Friday. hoping Scotty might see this and be able to shed some light on it. Might also try running it on a old tablet I have and seeing if it will talk to it.

I don't know one way or the other. I didn't know Alltrax had a BT module until yesterday afternoon and my familiarity with the Bluetooth technology in general is so lacking I had to get the young guy that mows my lawn connect my android phone to my SUV's audio system via BT so I could talk hands free.

I used to stay on the leading edge of technology, but haven't kept up with it for years.

This info is for Alltrax SPM/SPB, but I bet it's the same for SR & XCT.

Fan will be on whenever controller temp above 60°c OR whenever controller output is above 2/3 max current. This would explain fan activation when pedal is mashed from a stop.
