Default Bought A Cart

I bought a 05 Club Car DS. It is the identical cart that I got for my grandson a couple of years back so I am familiar with it. In very good shape. I do have one question though. What is the hole for in the last picture that I have circled?

I was thinking the same thing but the hole looks too small. It also has notches

Thanks! That makes sense on the gas body. Now if walls could talk. I have to figure out something to put over it. A speaker would work, or a vent cover.

I'll bet anything if you take that choke button off you'll find that exact hole. Well we know now that the bodies can interchange........

You could put your charger receptacle there, and put speakers where you charge recp. was, it would probably look better that way.

I think if it were me I would try to rig a way to use that hole to run some air over to the batteries to help keep the compartment cool never hurts to have extra cool air under their. Just a thought sort of like a vent cover so while you're driving your getting extra air from their that might be something to think of......
