Default 48volt charger

Hi!
So installed new batteries in 48volt club car, 4-12volts, all is great. When we plugged in the OEM charger, the DC anmeter did not engage and the reset button pops out...Any ideas? Does the OBC need reset after batteries are installed? We assume the charger needs repaired but wanted to make sure about the OBC.As always, your help is much appreciated.

Double/triple check your connections on the battery pack . . . if charger worked ok before changing batteries, you may have a wire/cable installed improperly . . .

well we know the cart wiring and batteries are hooked up properly because the cart is running fine and the proper voltage is there.
