Re: Club car with no power
well if your using a charger with a crows foot plug end thats a 36 volt charger, your ser# says its a 36 volt cart.................you said your batteries have 4 water fill holes so they are 8 volt batteries which gives you 48 volts......so your trying to charge 48 volts with a 36 volt charger thats your problem so you can either put the right batteries in it 6 volt batteries or you can convert the cart to 48 volt at maybe twice the cost...................

Re: Club car with no power
Yup they say 8v on the battery. Anyone have a part number to some from Walmart or somewhere? Or is it a specialty battery

Re: Club car with no power
get what you can afford.....top brands are trogen, crown, us, interstate..........also keep in mind that break in of new batteries and maintence is more important than brand...........if you buy the best out there and don,t break them in or maintain them your not gonna be happy..............there should be date codes stamped on the lead battery post get that and post it lets see how old they are.............................

Re: Club car with no power
Ok, I have an update. I believe my cart has been converted to 48v. It has 48v batteries, and I found out its a 48v charger. But it has the 36v v shaped plug? What should I do now? Now it's getting to where it doesn't hardly wanna go at all, even in reverse.
