Kinda depends on whether you can live without the buggy for a couple of days.
I bought all new wear parts, and did the work in one day. I put a price on my time, and having to get dirty twice vs. doing it all at once.

ok one of the things I don't like but ran into is this mess(picture attached). To get the ride height correct there are 2 big washers under each spring. I don't like it. I am truing to think up a spacer to put in there which should be pretty simple. it seems to me that with the spring sitting on these washers it's contact area is reduced maybe causing them to be less rigid or wear excessively what do you's think.

I don't like it I am thinking of getting a couple 1x1 square stock welding them together side x side drilling a hole for the spring to sit in and putting that in there

I don't know if the above Youtube link will help you or not....but I don't think it would hurt to watch.

Good point. Didn't watch the vid, but the rear springs can be under tension and whack you if you aren't careful. Fronts are no problem.

Might want to also post this in the gas section. A Workhorse may be a different beast than a TXT.

I had a gas Workhorse, but the only thing I ever did was rebuild the engine.

Do those washer/spacers show up in the manual? If not, have you tried the new springs yet. They may have been a bandaid for worn out springs bottoming out.

Without them my rear is lower than my front almost add if the spacers for the lift kit in the rear don't match the front.... I have it still together now and used those washers but as soon as I get a chance I think I will ditch them and put a metal spacer in there like I mentioned before.

One might say without them my &$$ is sagging

I posted the video as I don't see any other spring kit or lift kit that has the spacer like you have. Yet your lift kit bolts appear to be long enough to accommodate the lift spacer, and that round spacer. It seems to me that if you remove the round spacer, your lift kit bolts would be too long. But.....that's just a guess on my part, and that's why I posted the video. Maybe it's a long, long way for me to plow a road to your back door.

The picture you posted does not show the whole spring. To me it looks like the spring may be worn that May be why the spacer is there.
