Gas car wont start
Have a 1993 club car with the 290 motor, and it has a Gremlin. It will start every now and then and run like a champ, and it might start 2-3 more times then it is dead.It wont do anything not even spin over the motor, let it sit a day and go back and hit the accellorator a couple of times and it will start and then nothing.I have put a new ignitor and solenoid on,no difference and all the micros have been changed. the solenoid is hot everywhere but on the white cable and all the switches are hot.

Re: Gas car wont start
Did you use a factory replacement solenoid? I've seen lots of people use aftermarket or automotive solenoids that have had this problem. The OEM solenoid is designed to stay closed for long periods of times, where a starter solenoid for an automobile is designed to stay closed for short bursts while starting the vehicle. Check to make sure power is getting across the solenoid when it clicks. If it's not, the solenoid is the problem. If power is getting across, the starter generator is the problem. Give it a good whack with a hammer and see if it starts to spin. You may need to replace the brushes in the starter generator, or if it's damaged you may need to replace the entire starter generator.
