Thank you for sharing. I'm getting ready for a similar upgrade.

I put this switch on my weed spray rig cart. It does a lot of back and forth maneuvering. Best invention since the broadcast sprayer

A cheap crimping tool kit with connectors $18.00.

Never hearing my wife complain about using a pair of vice-grips for a shift lever again. PRICELESS !!!!!!

The "wife" part alone has to make it worth it....at almost any price!!!

I installed one of ScottyB's SD reversing contactor's and it was for sure one of the best investments on my cart. The smell of burning wires is a distant memory....and the iron-man wrist needed to switch from F to R is long gone. I did notice that your stock F\R switch was mounted "upside down" from my TXT cart. Not that mine is right and yours is wrong.....they are just different. The seat closing thing could have been a real issue for ya. You know.....:"Hey honey....I got some good news (no more vice-grip switch)....and some bad news.(no more seat)"

Sound, WHAT sound. You mean they are suppose to make a sound.

I'm thinking he must have a Karaoke machine on that ride!! When my SD RC's kick in, it's a very mild sound. Maybe that mic is stuck under the seat???

O.K. just a quick update on the reversing contactor install. Been running the new contactor for a month now and not a single problem with it. ScottyB has a good product here and it works just like it is advertised to. Oh, and yes I do hear the clicking sound the switch makes now. (Put hearing aid in.)

Now I no longer worry about where I park my cart so that I would not have to use the old F and R manual shift lever. I don't care if I have to change directions anymore because it is just the push of a button. The wife loves the thing more then me I think.

Now what do I do with the old F and R switch that is taking up space in the garage.

I think the next project will be a voltage reducer from Scotty and some LED lights.
