EZGO DCS reverse switch
I have an DCS that has a microswitch for reverse.
At the suggestions of another forum member, I bent the little arm on the switch to get it to work again. I have to keep bending it ever so often now to get it to go into reverse. I have purchased a new reverse microswitch and think it is time to put it on. Does anyone know how this little switch goes onto the plate? From best I can tell, I think the old one will just pull off the plate it is attached to and the new one will just snap into the plate? Can anyone with a DCS tell me if this sounds correct? The attached picture is the back of the new switch and it seems this would just be snapped into place?? Skip Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

Thanks for the diagram again....
To me it does not really show how those microswitchs are attached. I thought there would be some screw on the backside that held them into the plate, but that does not appear to be the case. Before taking a flat head screw driver and trying to pry off the old switch, I thought I would ask again to see if anyone has replaced one before. Thanks for the feedback. Re: EZGO DCS reverse switch
They are just pushed on. They have two plastic post that goes in to the small holes. Just pry the old one off with a screw drive and you will see what I am saying.

Thanks Sonny
I was thinking that would be what I should do...just wanted to get some advice before just prying off a switch and making a bigger problem. Thx Skip Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

If anyone has a EZGO DCS with reverse microswitch, just like mentioned...it just pops out with a flat head screw driver.
New one just snaps in...the hardest part was getting in there to cut the zip tie off holding the wires. Hopefully new switch will engage the reverse without issues ... Skip Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |
