Re: upgrade 1994 club car
500 amps will work with the stock series motors. You can run most of these controls on 36v now and 48v later for 33% more speed and torque

Re: upgrade 1994 club car
Thanks my plan is to work up to putting in new motor but want to be able to use cart in mean time. Going to use pb6 throttel...400 amp solenoid... 500 amp controller ... and the Beast motor. Will all of that work?

Re: upgrade 1994 club car
Check the wiring at the FNR switch.
The "pivoting" connections need to go to S1 and S2 at the motor. You probably have one of those wires in the wrong place. |

Re: upgrade 1994 club car
I am not talking about swapping them around, one of those wires is not going to either S1 or S2 post at the motor.

Re: upgrade 1994 club car
checked pivot wires one is going to s1 and the other is going to s2..... when i bought the speed controller it said 36-48 volt......Now i think it is suppose to go on a 48 volt system...... could that be the problem?
