Re: Alltrax quit! Help
If the Alltrax has failed it should be showing a red flash error code unless there is no LED light at all?

Re: Alltrax quit! Help
I don't believe it has anything to do with the solenoid. the solenoid is before the controller if it shorted it would short behind the controller. When that resistor gets hot it's usually a shorted controller alltrax controllers cannot be rebuilt because they're completely potted that way they sell new controllers.
This information is still only worth a dollar |

Re: Alltrax quit! Help
Controller is toast, and smells like a fire cracker, solenoid is also shorted. Alltrax is replacing controller under warranty, and I just ordered a heavy duty solenoid from Scottyb

Re: Alltrax quit! Help
Something failed, controller and solenoid are toast, I'll test motor tomorrow, but when this cart stopped the motor was cool, but I'm going to test it anyways..... I was told by alltrax that the controller could have just failed and that the load from tires shouldn't affect it, if anything it should have blown the main 400amp fuse...

Re: Alltrax quit! Help
I'll be testing motor today to make sure it's OK....any suggestions o. Why this happened? Yes I know my tires are huge, but is motor pulling to many amps and getting hot? If so why is my 400amp fuse not blowing? Do I need bigger than 4ga wire? I'm sending controller off to be replaced and don't want this to happen again, thanks......
