Default How do I get behind dash?

I have to disconnect the reverse buzzers on our fleet of 2012 EZ Go TXT's for a tournament. How do I get to the back of the dash. I believe you have to remove the four unit cup holder but can't figure out how. What is the trick to remove it?

if its the "old style" dash with 4 inline cupholders, press in/forward where the dash meets the cupholder until you see the 3 tabs that secure it at its front edge while lifting up on the cup holes. you can also use the handheld programmer to turn it off with the newer models. not sure why the reverse beepers would be disabled when the most people are around and the risk of injury is highest.... hope the facility has good legal defense .

Ditto on the legal. Especially if it is a group of attorneys. If you just want to quiet them down you can reach the buzzer from underneath and put tape over the hole.

In the case of a business disarming or modifying a safety device and then the vehicle being involved in any type of accident the business is leaving itself wide open to legal ruin.
You can reach in under the cowl and pull the splash guard down with one hand while shoving your arm in to reach the buzzer plug in wires. Only 1 wire needs to be unplugged to disable the device but, I would suggest you mention the liabiltity aspect of this to the management before you proceed just to cover your ash

You are nuts if you disconnect the reverse buzzer period!

Thanks for the information on getting behind dash. I have slim arms but my arm still got lacerated reaching in and up to the buzzer.
As for the liability, obviously none of you is a Pro Golfer. The buzzers are always disconnected for Pro tournaments. The BMW reps, assured me that they have a contingency plan to cover me disconnecting them. I hope so. I told them I wanted it in writing before I do it again.
Again, Thanks;

On this topic. I pulled my 4 cup holder unit out this evening. I have a 96 txt freedom what is the like 6 pin connector and two single spade conectors back there loose. It's factory. I think ones power and ground on the spades but what are they for? Radio?

6-pin connector is for turn signals, 2 loose wires are for energy meter.

I have a meter that's basically a little scale that shows state of charge.

Could I use those wires , the loose ones do a digital volt meter? I guess if ther hot all the time I could
