Help ID year and value of EZ GO TXT
The data plate on the dash is missing. The decal behind the batteries is badly worn but can make out a MFG Code of H1705.
Cart was purchased as a refurb a few years ago with all accessories shown. It is a 36V cart with 2012 Exide batteries and runs about 17-18 on flat ground. It has stock wheels and over size tires. It appears to have either a 4" or 6" lift (not spindles) with heavy duty springs on the back. Looking for any info as far as year and possibly fair price. Sticker price shown was what they paid several years ago. |

Should be a 2005. Values vary from location to location.

Re: Help ID year and value of EZ GO TXT
Is that a normal speed for these or could it possibly have an upgraded controller?

That sounds about right. Maybe a little slow for a PDS cart with larger tires.

Mine goes 18 tops with 23" tires. Down a big hill it will do a little more but 18 is my max normally.

36V with 4 year old batteries. I sure wouldn't pay even $3000 for it.

I did not consider the battery factor.

It belongs to a family member and they have no clue what it's worth, but I wanted to be fair for both is us. I've got a CC and know a little about them but nothing on EZ GO as far as modifying. I would like to get more speed in the future. Any quick tips and tricks other than controller, cables, motor and 48 conversion? Anything to watch out for? |

Re: Help ID year and value of EZ GO TXT
One thing that did concern me a little was when we backed it off the trailer today and put it in forward, nothing happened. We had to flip the switch 4-5 times to reverse and back before it went forward. He said they had never had that happen before but it has been sitting for a while.
This is also a Sepex cart and not series. |
