One more question has come up. I've also learned about wheel offset.
A set of rims I'm looking at have a 2+5 offset. Should I assume that this won't be a problem on the cart? BTW - found this helpful graphic that explains offset in a general sense: |

Since the drawing doesn't identify which side the rim faces the cart when mounted, it isn't clear if a positive offset or a negative offset moves the tire outboard to the cart. However, from what I've read on-line, I'm under the impression that a negative offset is the one that gives your more clearance between tires and cart.
I'm pretty sure the 2+5 means the hub only goes 2" inside the rim and 5" of the rim are outboard of the hub. |
