Default 2001 ergo txt non pds micro switch at pedal

I'm at a stump, new micro switches directional and pedal ( diode in wrong direction ) fried the microswitch at the pedal so replaced em all still no solenoid click and fried microswitch a second time would a welded solenoid cause this

No. A welded solenoid means the high current contacts are welded together while the switches are in the solenoid's coil circuit.

Frying the switches typically means B+ is shorted to B- through the switches. A diode installed the wrong way or a shorted diode can do that, or the solenoid coil circuit not being wired correctly can do it.

Leave the diode off for the moment and install it after you get the solenoid to click.

Attached is a schematic of a series drive cart with the solenoid activation circuit highlighted.

Start by checking for battery pack voltage (B+) on the smaller of the three wires coming out of the backside of the charge receptacle and work your way through the switches toward the solenoid's small terminal with the red wires on it.
