1993 ez go converted to ambulance - what do I have here?
Hi all,
A friend just picked up this cart that was converted by Robinson ambulance in Kansas to an ambulance. I believe it is a 1993 people and cargo mover but I am trying to identify what it was based on. The only reference I can Find on the site seemed indicate that it was a 1993 but as best I can tell it only has 5 6V batteries and no space for a sixth. It has an onboard charger with a wind up timer that you just plug a 110v extension into. I have never heard of a 30v cart before? Thanks |

Really neat cart. I know nothing about them, but it would make a cool project.

Any clue as to why it would only have 5 batteries? There does not appear to be a place or provision for a 6th.

One theory is they ran five 8v batteries and put 40v through their 36v system?

Looks like something you would use in a stadium at a concert or sports event.
Maybe it only has to go slowly, like with a injured person on it? Not that useful, but its cool looking and definitely a great piece of golf cart history |
