Default What controller on '89 PCX-957 Limo

Does anyone know if the 1989 PCX-957 had an electronic controller, and if so, which one or was it a resistor/multiple solenoid cart?

Is this for your own cart? If you are replacing the controller why go with the same one you had? The new Alltrax controllers are much, much better than the stock ones and miles more efficient than a resistor cart.

Not sure I am following you.

I am looking at buying the cart, but it is a couple of hours away from me and I am trying to see if it is worth my time to go look at it. The owner can't tell me much about it other than the standard "it was running when I parked it".

If I upgrade, will go with a Navitas controller (the people who AllTrax Copied, LOL). If it is a resistor cart, I probably will pass on it.

OK, that makes sense. From your original post I had no idea you were trying to decide if you trying to buy a cart or not. Makes sense now though.

I couldn't imagine it being anything other than a resistor cart from 89, but I really am not familiar with carts that old. Someone else will chime in shortly.

I am guessing same controller as 89 Marathon, I will see if I can find if that one was electronic or resistor
