It's not gonna do any good. It's raw steel. It's just going to rust again. It's not hurting your motor.

On your Armature picture, it looks like one of the windings is separating from the commutator bar (top right near the banding).

It could just be visual artifact of the picture, but are all of the commutator bar connections tight?

Messing around with it this afternoon and hit the gas. It moved a little just enough to go about a inch. I’m starting to think the solenoid is the problem but my voltmeter has had a meltdown and needs to be replaced tomorrow. I think I did the computer test the right way and nothing happened. Is this the correct plug?

That's the right plug. But you're supposed to be jumping Blue to White. Looks like you're jumping Blue to Black/White in the picture.
