Thought about this a little more and grinding my destroy some of the tab. May want to try a razor knife first and heating it would probably be a good idea as well. Should be able to cut a notch out of there.

just clear some plastic and solder a lead to metal tab...

123 tabs are control not motor current.

only 16 guage wire to spade if memory serves../

Well... I dont get it ?

Theres no tab left to put that on , its broke off flush , and why would it need two tabs now ?

thats the tab for the Pot' (pic)

whats the fix your suggesting

EZHO yes it is flush and a small amount of plastic will have to be removed
so the female end can slip onto it a little and then solder it up.

The terminal AZ posted is a good idea and only one side would be used.
Probably easier to find that double male terminal than single one.

Terminals 1 and 2 are common, there is no differance.

I thought with his "Simple " he meant without chipping, melting in, and soldering . thought maybe he was suggesting to put it on one of the other 2 ...and i dont know what terminals 1 and 2 being common have to do with anything, ....but i'll shut up now carry on
