Battery Voltage Meter Hookup
Hi guys
I’m going to install a battery voltage meter while replacing the batteries on my 87 EZGO Marathon. I want to hook it to the key switch so it’s not on all the time. Can someone provide insight on how to do that. I imagine I need to go to the positive side of the ignition switch and to the negative side of one of the batteries. My question is which is the positive side of the switch, Yellow or green and which negative battery post? Thanks |

Re: Battery Voltage Meter Hookup
Hook the positive up to whatever wire on the key switch has 36v when switch is on and the negative wire to pack negative.

Re: Battery Voltage Meter Hookup
I'm just curious is it better to go straight to the batteries? Is there a problem with it being on all the time? I'm going to put one on also

Re: Battery Voltage Meter Hookup
I hooked my digital meter straight to the batteries. It is on all the time and I have no noticeable voltage drop
