Default Front Cowl on RXV

I recently installed headlights on my RXV and when putting the front cowl back on one of the screws stripped out the hole to fasten the cowl to the cart. Any fixes for this without buying a new cowl?

use a plastic or drill/tap-able filler (we use smooth-on plastic )

fill hole let dry drill and test with screw then re install

only one stripped out is not a problem. many out there with one or more stripped out.

Have someone hold in place and don't over-tighten... they usually strip out if you try to pull cowl in place with screws.

Break-off a toothpick (2 if one isn't enough) in the hole, then use original screw. It will give just enough bite to do the job.

Ditto, if it doesn't work there is always the filler route..
