1998 TXT w/DCS Not Running at ALL

Hello Everyone. My 1998 TXT stopped running while I was putting a load on it by pulling a heavy load up a hill. I have replaced the solenoid which has been the culprit the last 2 times it stopped running. I notice now that the backup alarm/buzzer stays on whether it is in forward or reverse. Could this be my issue? Could the f/r switch be fried.

Any other suggestions or if you have a systematic way to trouble shoot for a novice with a test meter I would greatly appreciate it.

If stock controller, likely it died.

Thank you Scotty. Do you know how I can test the motor to rule that out first?

If it is the controller what is the least expensive option to fix it? Would like to upgrade but 4 kids in college and a wedding to pay for this year leaves me with limited funds...

The best in-expensive fix is XCT48300DCS controller. Google around - I see one for under $400
