I used 4" channel steel blocks ( free ) Got longer u bolts from spring shop ( $29 ) . Doing something cool really cheap ( priceless ) .

If you would like to see pictures of mine using scrap 4 inch square tube annd plate welded to the ends just look search MY 85 WESTERN BUILD I put the pics in that thread I would link to it but I am still new and not so savvy yet. I hope it helps. OH yeah I used all grade 8 bolts and had the u bolts in the rear built for it they cost around 40.00 shipped to me from atlas spring. I am pretty sure this is a safe lift Because I agree with not hurting my family to save a dollar.
