Re: First time Alltrax install..
Couple things...first off this is a ‘14 non OBC Precedent. The blue bullet connector that connected from the main harness to the charging harness; does it need to be connected back? Next is the pink connector in the run/tow, small solenoid wire group; where does it need to be connected to if at all. Lastly does the black wire in the charging harness just need to be connected back to the main negative?

Re: First time Alltrax install..
Yes, You need both.
The pink wire connects to the Solenoid big post on the battery side and provides power to the Controller and key switch. The blue wire with bullet connector is the charger lockout signal to the Controller. |

Re: First time Alltrax install..
I believe I just about got everything wired right by I want to be absolutely certain on the diode situation. The first pic where the red circled part is my battery side of the solenoid. So is the way I have the diode in the 2nd picture correct?

Re: First time Alltrax install..
The REGEN diode is correct on top of the Solenoid.
You are missing the small flyback diode on the Solenoid small posts. The diode side with the stripe will go towards the light blue wire. Just one more thing, there are two different ways to wire the F1 and F2 to make the cart go the correct direction as indicated by the FNR switch, but there are many incorrect diagrams produced by Alltrax: Controller B+ to Motor A1 and Controller F1 to Motor F1 If the cart does not move after you install everything, check the charger interlock setting in the Alltrax software: Open the Alltrax Toolkit software and click on Tools then Options. |

Re: First time Alltrax install..
So I have my CONTROLLER B+ to my MOTOR A2. I would need to swap my CONTROLLER F1 to MOTOR F2 and CONTROLLER F2 to MOTOR F1?
