Default 05 48v ds jumping

i have a 2005 48v ds it has an all trax controller and motor. when you are moving it will suddenly slow down and then randomly take off again at full power. i have replaced the mcor 2 times now and it does the same thing. is there a half speed switch or something not letting it work correctly? any help is greatly appreciated

There is a speed switch in the tail of the motor and a magnet underneath it assuming this is an IQ/Sepex cart.

Can you confirm Sepex or Series? If not, post the serial number

Yes, you have an IQ (Sepex) cart. Excellent machine.

Lets troubleshoot and determine where the anomaly is coming from. We will start by testing the MCOR output to the controller.

With the batteries connected, Tow/Run switch in Run; place the black (–) probe on packs main Negative post and the red (+) probe on the yellow wire at the 3-pin connector near the MCOR. (The reading should be approximately ~0.32vdc to ~0.5vdc with the pedal up). Slowly press the Go Pedal and the readings should increase until it reaches ~4.65vdc or more when the pedal is fully pressed. (Anything less than 4.60vdc and you are not reaching full throttle). If the reading is erratic or jumps all over the place it is a bad MCOR output signal.....
