Default Battery break-in and Motor temp question

I have a couple of questions about breaking in new batteries and Motor temperatures.

I am still in the midst of breaking in the new batteries that I put in the cart last November. Cheap Duracell's from Sam's Club. They have actually been really good so far. I have read the from Scottyb's web site about breaking in batteries that you should run them down 25% then charge for the first 10-20 charge cycles. I have been driving the cart when the weather allows (been really rainy the past month or so) but have not had enough time each time I ride before it gets to dark to run them down 25%. I usually start off with the pack at 51.5-52.5v when I take the cart out and when I'm done for the evening I am usually only down to 80 - 90% SOC. Will not running them down 25% each time affect the break-in of these batteries or will they be fine?
Second question is what is or has anyone measured the motor temperature after running a few miles? I checked how hot my motor (AMD 7119 "Bad Boy" series motor) was with my hand and it was pretty hot to the touch so I grabbed my IR thermometer and it read 168°F. Is that normal and what would be the max temp it could run without causing issues? Dirt roads around my area are pretty rough so not a lot of high speed and mainly slow cruising.

The deeper the discharge the faster you break them in.

190 degrees or less is best. I have never exceeded 170 degrees with any of mine that I monitored.

You are taking that out of text my friend. In his above post he was only being able to pull the SOC down by 25% (instead of the normal 50%). That will still work it will just take longer,

My bad ....... run them DOWN 25%, NOT TO ... 25%. Words, or lack thereof, DO matter
