Default Turn signal alert

Help, I have a 16 President that is street legal with turn signals. There is nothing audiable to alert me when the turn signal is on. I have purchased an additional back up buzzer hoping I can hook it up somehow. Not at all sure how to do it or will it work at all. Can anyone help?

The back up buzzer will be meant to operate on 48V whereas your turn signals are 12V. Go to an auto store or an electronics parts store and get a 12V buzzer (you can get small cheap buzzer for a couple of dollars - or a few dollars more for waterproof). Because they are so cheap and so small you could get two and hook one to each turn signal light. When the light comes on the buzzer sounds.

Ha, Mikefili there are audiadle trun signal flasher available that are 12 volt. May be something to check in to. I know some motorcycles use them. We used them on our fleet trucks.

Here is what you need right here, just replace your flasher with this one.

That would be perfect.! I have had the cart for 2 years and have not found or seen a flasher anywhere. I think the flasher might be built into the turn signal unit itself mounted on the steering column. Could that be?

It is probably under the dash. Trace the wires back from the flashers themselves.

Remove the two T-30 and one T-15 Torx screws and look behind the dash panel under the steering column. If you order Pingeye3 flasher on Amazon it works great but you will probably want to tape up the end to muffle it a bit. I've put in 3 of them now.
