97 club car ds 48v, new batteries and motor, still won't run.
Hi I have a 97 club car ds with no tow switch and 2 solenoids. Was running on weak batteries then motor died. Replaced both and now nothing, solenoid initially clicks upon hooking up main power but then does nothing. I've tried jumping solenoid but nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a Rocker switch for Fwd/Rev or a handle/lever style?

Re: 97 club car ds 48v, new batteries and motor, still won't run.
That is a Regen 1 cart. I hope it is not the controller, they are dinosaurs and no longer available. Lets look at some things.
With key switch On, Fwd/Rev rocker switch in the Fwd position (and also have the back jacked up off the ground). Get your DVM and place the black (–) probe at the motor A2 (white wire) and connect the red (+) probe at the motor A1 (green wire) and slowly depress the Go Pedal. When the micro-switch in the throttle closes (clicks), the voltage reading should increase from ~5vdc gradually going up to to approximately ~45-48vdc (could be higher) once the accelerator pedal fully pressed. If that it good, we will work backwards.... |

Doing it the same way, place red probe on B+ and black probe on B- and see if the controller is getting voltage from the solenoid.
