Default Budget speed increase?

I'm looking at buying one of these not sure the model, just wondering what's needed to get some more speed out of it.

Some models have speed codes, cart shop can help there.
Bigger (taller) rear tires

What year? IQ models were as easy as replacing the magnet at end of motor. Could switch out or have motor modified. That is a club car precedent but need more info.

Speed Code 4 (On Excel or IQ) or speed magnet on an IQ. XCT300IQ controller next upgrade from there.

That will have an Excel. You can go to your Dealer or CC shop and for around ~$100 they will get your serial # and order the SP-4 code and program it into your controller. This raises the RPM limit and will allow an Excel cart to run up to 19.2 mph with stock tires. (Taller tires will raise it higher if the pack is strong enough to carry it there). If you do not have a strong pack, you will not reach the RPM limit stated.

Your next best "bang for your buck" would be a controller. Scotty did a test a year or 2 ago and got around ~23/24mph with an XCT controller replacement and stock trim. Of course you gain amperage, adjustability and speed.
