I understand, but I figured when purchasing a new motor, most folks would op for a 48v motor. I can understand running 48v on a converted cart with a 36v motor, but they usually don't last long when pushed to the max especially with a 570 peak amp controller.

With speed and tire size, this will help estimate RPMs. No way to limit it. Larger tires actually help here.

I've hit over 35 mph on mine - same motor, though different label? Mine are on stock tires, so worst case for RPM.

8,411 RPM for mine.

With mine, 500+ amps only occurs at really low RPMs. Once I'm into 30+ MPH, amps are pretty low.

So do they make a 48v motor in the 7126? that is what was recommended to me. and I believe that others here are running the same but I may be mistaken.

See my label above. Me and at least one other have been using this motor for a while without problems, although the other person has larger tires = lower RPM.

BTW, I really like the access to the brushes on this motor.

So glad that you came to my rescue here, I have almost the same identical cart that you have and have based allot of what I've upgraded due to what I have seen on your signature and post of yours that I have read.

It appears AMD is Nidec, like your label. Mine's 2011. I think I saw GE offered the same model number a while ago.

I'm just hoping that they stand behind their product, so far I'm still waiting to see how the seller wants to handle it, this is the second day with no contact from them.

I'd call back and insist on an RMA number and ship it back. Hopefully you kept the box and packing. I kept mine until I got around to selling my stock motor.

I guess that I'll have to do that, I am usually pretty patient and understanding and try to give people the time that they need to take care of it but I guess that sometimes they need a push.

Thanks
