BBB XTO Dies when accelerator fully pressed

I have a 2012 bad boy buggy xto and when the accelerator is pressed all the way it shuts off. Reverse is fine and runs forward fine while just pressing accelerator not all the way. My husband is pretty sure it's the rheostat/throttle position sensor but from what we've been told you have to just buy the whole pedal assembly. I believe it is part number 616127 but not for certain, however we have been unable to find one anywhere. Anyone else had this issue or know where we could find the part?

Did you have any luck figuring this out? I have a 2010 Classic XT and this sounds like a similar problem I am having. I know there was an accelerator pedal recall but that one stated the buggy will go full throttle on its own. Mine wont move if in full acceleration. I purchased used and am not sure if that particular recall has been done.
