Cart jerks on take off then slows drastically
So my cart (95 club car DS) jerks up take off both in forward and reverse. Once it's moving after about 100 yards it slows like it is going to die out. I have not driven it to that point. I had read it was from bad batteries. I replaced my batteries yesterday, and it is still doing it. Any ideas as to what it could be? Or possibly what thread the answers are in?

is it a resistor cart or does it have a controller ? 8 volt batteries or 6 volt ?

8vs, I'm not sure if it has a resistor or control. I will check.

Alright it has a controller no resistor. It is a 95 16th week model, DS. (Did a little more research on it).
