Intermittent problem since installing alltrax controller
I recently installed an alltrax controller and upgraded solenoid In My club car 2010 IQ ds. Everything has been working well for last 2 weeks but
began playing up during round of golf yesterday It was intermittently not moving and would just “stutter “ . To get it going I had to push the cart to get it moving. I first thought was a loose connection but checked every terminal and nothing was loose. Wondering how to solve this issue ? |

Re: Intermittent problem since installing alltrax controller
Does sound like worn brushes. Not likely caused by the Alltrax. The IQ motors just like to eat brushes.

Okay. MZJ-400's have caused a similar problem as you describe, but not that one.

Re: Intermittent problem since installing alltrax controller
You never stated what amp Alltrax you purchased. General rule of thumb has been a gray motor 300 amps, a black motor 400 amps. Rebuilding/replacing a motor that wasn’t engineered to take the amps is throwing away money, unless you sell motors.

Re: Intermittent problem since installing alltrax controller
It is a 400 amp alltrax and I have the black ADC motor so it’s capable of 400 AMPs.
Was interesting , played 9 holes today and had no issue . |
