Tires Out of Round
I just purchased a set of Madjax 12" VORTEX Machined/Black Wheels on 22x10x12 Timber Wolf A/T Tires. They look amazing and it feels like I have power steering. The only problem is the cart bounces up and down. I took my cart to a certified club car dealer to have the suspension worked on and they showed me the issue. Almost every tire was out of round. I contacted the company I purchased them through and they sent all new wheels and tires. I changed them out yesterday but they are also out of round. Is this a common issue and is it specific to certain tires or brands?

Re: Tires Out of Round
I have seen it with Kenda tires that I bought, They were just tires no wheels . they were shrink wrapped 2 together , as tight as they could get them. Had to let them sit in the sun just to soften them up to put them back shape. After mounted I kept them at 33 psi and drove up and down the street to help round them, then dropped it down to 12 psi
I find that the 6 ply are better then the 4 ply , just a little stronger sidewall. |
