Break light switch.
I am looking to add a break light switch. Currently, the break lights just stay bright. Any info on what I need to do to make this happen?Recommended products? Wiring diagrams? Whatever I’ll need to make this happen.

Re: Break light switch.
I got tired of those pad type not working on my '13 TXT48. I put in a universal motorcycle brake light switch. Works great for $8.00 and a few minutes work.
I drilled a hole in the brake cable bracket to mount it, and just plugged it into the brake circuit where the original switch was. I hooked the activation linkage to the brake pedal. |

I like this better than my setup of the old Chevy truck brake switch! |

Re: Break light switch.
You can find the wireing diagram for your cart in the stickies thread on this forum.
It will show you lighting wireing 😊 |

Re: Break light switch.
A side note on mine. With this set up the brake lights are on whenever the pedal is locked down. However, my light kit times out and shuts the lights off in about 15 seconds but will return to normal when used again. I also wired in a waterproof toggle switch to disable them when I'm in the woods hunting.
