Your said it in your first post. You have a DS model. Precedent didn't come out until 2004.

ok so I don't have the precedent model. Will those parts in my link still work on mine?

I know little about the RoyPow batteries but from the looks I doubt the 160AH will fit your cart. The DS model has frame rails that go through the battery location. Most of the people that have a DS and want lithium either build their own pack or find someone on here that will help them. A lithium pack using seven leaf modules will provide a DS with a stock motor around 20 miles of run time. Some people on the forum have detailed how they have built a 14 module pack for a DS but they usually have to split the pack into an 8 and a 6 (with cabling in between) to get it to fit into a DS frame. As someone mentioned before, do some reading on what others have done. You can find most of it here - https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/forumdisplay.php?f=98. I have two DS carts. Both running lithium. The first one I had someone on the forum build the pack for me. The second one I've built myself.

Thanks. My main problem is I live in the Bahamas so I don't have a lot of options when it comes to customizing. I really need a direct fit and bolt on option.
