This should be your motor terminals. Take a brush to the motor housing and you should see them. They are stamp into the casing.

Thank you guys! this is super helpful information!

i hooked it up per the diagram, and tried to start it with a regular 12v car battery charger, but it didn't budge.

is the car battery charger enough to move the motor? or do i need to connect up 3 12v in series to get the motor going?

just trying to figure out a minimum to test the motor component before committing to buying the batteries.. :)
