Will a 2 Wire DPI Charger work on a Yamaha G29
If I change the DC card out on a DPI 2 wire charger, will it work on the G29 or does that 3 wire need to receive some current? From what I researched, some say that third wire sends about 4 volts back to charger to activate the charger (safety mechanism). But if the charger is just a two wire, then wouldn't the charger go ahead and charge the batteries as long as + and - are connected to the charger? Reason I'm asking is a found a 48v DPI charger for $100 but has a two wire DC cord.

2-wire works just fine. About 70% of the YDRE chargers Yamaha sent us since 2007 only had 2 wire connections.
