Default Noise coming from motor

2012 CC Precedent with Alltrax controller, stock solenoid and motor. Whining noise that comes about half throttle, goes away or noise gets softer, then at full throttle it comes back and stays. I believe it’s a rotational noise as it’s gets faster with motor speed. I don’t remember the Alltrax settings but it’s on fast mode. Now that I think about it, it makes the same noise when I have switched in slow mode. I’m trying to post a video of the noise but not able to figure out how.

Sounds more metallic than my 2013 precedent with alltrax combo. Maybe a bad bearing in the motor?

Default Noise coming from motor

Weird, last night it started to quiet up. I’m leaning towards a bearing as well. I did change the rear end fluid hopping that would do it but I changed that 2 days ago.

As that system is more of splash type it may take a little while for oil to spread around.

I have a friend with a DS model that has a high speed D&D motor that sounds the same as yours.
