Default Ez go will not move

Hi guys. Need help here. I am working on my in-laws rxv 48 volt . Not sure on the year. Thinking early 2000s but not sure. I put brand new batteries in it after it sat for awhile and it ran great for a few weeks. Now the issue. I saw the tires were low so I move it over to the air compressor with no other. After airing up I tried to move it and nothing. I noticed the reverse buzzer would come on the immediately tone done to a low pitch buzz . The buzz happens in any gear except off and neutral. I tried rocking it and nothing but the brake is still on. Put it in tow and had to fiddle with it to release. Pushed it back in its parking spot and tried again and still only the buzz. Batteries show 50 volts so I know it’s charged. Anyone have an idea. They are elderly and need the cart. Really don’t want to go to a repair job. Thanks and sorry for the book.

Check that the brake is coming off when you put it in TOW by pulling by hand...if it stays locked wiggle the electric plug going into the brake...I had problems with it not making contact..I removed the plug
pushed the contact in the plug in a bit...no more problems

Thanks for aal the help. I was finally able to get back down to the campground to work on the cart. I did forget to check on the year. But I did get the cart to run. If I pull back on the gas peddle the buzzer comes back to full blast and the cart will go in all directions. Unforunitly every now and then I need to repeat that . I am running in a sandy enviroment . Thoughts on cleaning the position senser or ? . But at least it is running
