Positive batterycable
I noticed today that the positive cable from controller to battery was a little crunchy on the battery end. Can I replace the end,or should I replace the entire cable? Last year I replaced the cable’s with 4 gauge on batteries, but not to controller.

Re: Positive batterycable
If it’s just the terminal end and the wire is not damaged then you can just replace the terminal. I’ve replaced this on my cart last winter. You can find ring terminals at your local hardware store. You’ll need a wire crimp tool that can handle 4 gauge wires.
Be sure you clean your terminal heads every couple of months to prevent corrosion. |

Re: Positive batterycable
I'd be concerned that there's corrosion under the insulation. If it's 4 gauge, simply buying a terminal end and crimping it may work, but it's not the best way to do it.
