Default Club car ds moter

I have a club car ds 48v iq cart im needing help trying to find a way to get the broke 4 bolts out of the aluminum ring , or if any one know or has way for me to get a replacement ring for it .

I have had the same issue with a cart I am working on now. I talked to Dave at Revolution Golf Cart he said the ring is not available by it self. I am going to look for a old motor that I can use for parts.

Have you tried soaking them down with WD 40 or PB Blaster. That has worked for me at times.

old timers trick is to drip candle wax or paraffin into the threads and heat up the housing.
Hot wax will wick into the threads and the paraffin will lubricate

best time to do that is before the bolts are broken off.
Heat the bolts first,steel and aluminum expand/contract at different rates,thereby breaking the bond between the two
